I was born & raised in Kodiak. I spent my high school & college year summers commercial fishing on my dads boat for salmon & halibut. Between fishing & living by the sea, it reflects a lot of what inspires me for artwork. In college, I started dabbling in stained glass. About 10 years ago, I started in mosaics & in past 5 years I’ve added fused glass to my glass hobbies. I’ve done Artist in Residence projects in local & village schools. And I’ve offered the ever popular marine mosaics through the Kodiak Arts Council’s Sum’Arts for Kids program.
